Beechgrove Private Appointments give both you and your dog the chance to have some 1-2-1 time in a safely enclosed environment. The Doggy Park is fully enclosed with 8ft perimeter fencing and is situated in a serene countryside setting, making it the perfect, peaceful place to relax for both dogs and humans.
When booking a Private Appointment, you and your dog will be provided with a private play area to yourselves and will be free from the worry of other dogs, traffic and people which may, be uncomfortable for some dogs in other more public areas.
Dogs of all sizes and ages can benefit from a Private Appointment: they can simply have peace to do as they please – whether that be to relax, chase a ball, enjoy the freedom to run, or to learn some new skills on the agility equipment provided. Private Appointments can also be ideal for training/working purposes such as recall, scent work, obedience etc.
Private Appointments are especially great for:
- Nervous Dogs
- Reactive Dogs
- Unsocialised Dogs
- Dog Aggressive Dogs
- Female Dogs in Heat
- Restricted Breeds
- Disabled Dogs
- Multiple Dog Families
- Families with Young Children
- Human Aggressive Dogs (Please make us aware when booking)
We have three different play areas available for your dogs:
- Main Play Area
- Small Dog/Puppy Obstacle Area
- Large Dog Obstacle Area
If you are unsure about which play area would be best suited for you and your dog please do not hesitate to contact us, as we will be able to advise you which area would be best suited for your dog’s needs and be most suitable for the use of your Private Appointment.
Experienced staff will be available should you need any help during your appointment. If required, we are happy to assist when you are bringing dogs to and from the play area. We will even bring you tea/coffee, toys for your pooch to play with and if your mobility is restricted – we can help exercise your dog… please do not hesitate to ask for assistance during your visit.
One complimentary Tea/Coffee also available during visit.
** Dogs that are Human Aggressive are welcome to Private Appointments, although for everyone’s safety we do ask that you please make us aware of this when booking your appointment. **

Beechgrove is more than happy to work with local charities to raise much-needed funds, we host several ‘Fun Days’ every season which include fun shows, competitions, games, supervised off-lead play areas, stalls, catering and much more. We are always open to ideas and are happy to discuss these events!
